Pioneer Valley single family home sales were down 6.9% and median single-family home prices were up 10.5% during the month of January when compared to the same period last year, according to data released by the REALTOR® Association of Pioneer Valley.

Pioneer Valley single-family home sales were down 7.3% overall in November, while median single-family home prices inched up .6% when compared to the same period last year, according to data released by the REALTOR® Association of Pioneer Valley.  Hampshire County was the only county in the Pioneer Valley with an improvement in number of sales, but a decrease in median prices.

Single-family home sales dipped 4.5% as median home prices rose 8.1% in the Pioneer Valley in June when compared to the same period last year, according to data cited by the REALTOR® Association of Pioneer Valley (RAPV).    Mortgage interest rates spiked during the month of June―from 3.81% at the end of May to 4.46% by the end of June― according to FreddieMac.com. The REALTOR® Association of Pioneer Valley recently reported that April median single-family home prices were up 12.5% overall in the Pioneer Valley when compared to the same period last year, but the number of single-family home sales were down 12.6%. This was likely due to low inventory earlier in the year. However, the number of Pioneer Valley listings that went under agreement rose 21.5%, which is a good indication that the real estate market continues to improve. More…

Single-family home sales dipped slightly, while median sale prices were up in the Pioneer Valley in the month of February, according to the REALTOR® Association of Pioneer Valley.   There were two less sales than in February of 2012 for a .9% decrease, but median prices jumped 7.1% ―rising from $167,537 to $185, 879 in 2012 and 2013, respectively.  More…

Pioneer Valley single-family home sales were up again in September with a 14.4% increase in closed units over the same period last year, but median prices were down 8%, according to numbers released from the REALTOR® Association of Pioneer Valley (RAPV).    Although median single-family home prices were down overall, they were up in Hampshire and Franklin counties.  On average, overall Massachusetts median single-family home prices were also up.
