Located about 12 miles north of Amherst and the five colleges area, is the quiet rural town of Montague.  Montague has a population of about 8,500 people and consists of 5 villages, including quaint Montague Center.   Montague’s other villages consists of Lake Pleasant, Millers Falls, Montague City (not really a “city”), and Turner’s Falls.
