Amherst’s Emily Dickinson Museum included in episode of Aerial America Reply

The Emily Dickinson Museum in Amherst was included in the Massachusetts episode of Aerial America, the Smithsonian Channel’s television series that offers a bird’s eye view of the states along with interesting facts.

Much of the episode focused on the historically significant sites of the eastern part of the state―Boston, Cambridge, Plymouth, Provincetown, Salem, Concord, Lexington, Cape Cod and the Islands―the Pioneer Valley only included footage of Amherst and Springfield.

But you won’t get a good glimpse of Amherst and the three colleges that call it home.  The episode only included footage of the Emily Dickinson Museum with its cupola peering up through the trees that surround it.

The footage of Springfield focused around the Basketball Hall of Fame.

If you are planning on buying or selling a home in the Pioneer Valley, make your first call to Michael Seward at 413-531-7129.
